Our solution is the Energyfish \u2013 a scalable micro<br \/>\nhydro power device that can simply be suspended in a river system and generates electricity from the kinetic energy in flowing water.<br \/>\nBy combining hardware, software, and data, we are building a new generation of decentralized energy systems.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What you&#8217;ll do:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Design and build backend systems for processing and analyzing device data<\/li>\n<li>Develop data pipelines that transform raw inputs (e.g. CSV, time-series data) into KPIs and aggregated metrics, anomaly detection and trend analysis, and structured outputs (JSON, reports, visualizations)<\/li>\n<li>Work with AWS services such as Lambda, S3, and related tools<\/li>\n<li>Make architectural decisions around data modeling and storage formats, pipeline design (batch vs. streaming), and performance and cost optimization<\/li>\n<li>Ensure systems are reliable, idempotent, and easy to evolve<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to product-level decisions around analytics and reporting<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What we&#8217;re looking for:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)<\/li>\n<li>Strong backend development skills (Python or similar)<\/li>\n<li>Experience building systems on AWS (e.g. Lambda, S3)<\/li>\n<li>Experience with data processing or pipeline development<\/li>\n<li>Ability to design systems and make architectural decisions<\/li>\n<li>Structured and pragmatic approach to problem solving<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Nice to have: experience with time-series data or analytics systems \u00b7 familiarity with Parquet or columnar storage formats \u00b7 experience with orchestration tools \u00b7 interest in data-driven
